Whichever comes first — time or mileage. The manufacturer warranty period cannot be extended.
How to register
- Register the warranty online within 15 days of purchase or installation (we can help).
- Fill in all required information — registrant, product and dealer details.
- Upload proof of purchase or installation (receipt or invoice) from an authorised YSS dealer.
- YSS reviews and confirms the registration.
If the registration is incomplete, the warranty period is halved. If the product is not registered and there is no proof of purchase, YSS may reject the claim. Keep your invoice!
Terms
- The warranty covers only defects caused by components or the manufacturing process. The method and timing of repair or replacement are decided by the manufacturer or an authorised YSS dealer.
- If a product cannot be repaired, it is replaced with the same or an equivalent product.
- Wear parts are not covered — bushings, rubber parts, seals and similar.
- Anodised aluminium parts: finish covered for 1 year; red and black anodising for 6 months.
- The warranty applies only to products bought from an authorised YSS dealer; claims go through the dealer.
Not covered
- Modified, improperly repaired or installed products, or products fitted to models they are not intended for.
- Damage from accidents, vehicle modifications, misuse, racing, competition or testing.
- Damage from incorrect settings or replaced adjusters.
- Additional costs and consequential losses from improper installation.
Springs may be repainted or recoated, but the manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by paint or coating.
Your statutory rights
Regardless of the manufacturer warranty, consumers may claim for goods not conforming to the contract within 2 years of delivery under the Latvian Consumer Rights Protection Law. Contact us: yss@yss-suspension.lv.
